Terms and Conditions

Version 2026-10. These terms are an agreement between you and Shootgeeks Photography and Videography. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. What the website does

You can browse our services and packages, check open dates, book and pay for coverage, upload inspiration photos for your shoot, and ask questions through GeekTalk, our automated assistant. Final photos and videos depend on artistic interpretation, the venue and conditions on the day.

2. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend accounts with false information or that break these terms.

3. Bookings

• A booking request is pending until the studio verifies your reservation fee and confirms it. Sending a request does not reserve a date.
• Several people may request the same date. The date goes to the booking whose reservation fee is verified and confirmed first. If you paid but the date went to another booking, you get a full refund or may move to another open date.
• Pending requests with no payment expire after 48 hours.
• Online bookings need at least 3 days' notice. For closer dates, contact the studio.
• The studio takes at most two bookings a day and assigns crew according to your package.
• The studio may reschedule because of emergencies, weather or technical problems, and will tell you about any change.

4. Payments and fees

• Payment is by the studio's QR Ph code, shown to you after you book. Scan it with GCash, Maya or your bank app (any bank or e-wallet app that supports QR Ph). Prices are set by the studio and may change, but the price on your booking does not change once you book.
• Prices are per day: a 2-day booking costs twice the package price.
• Payment plans: weddings 30% of the package to reserve, 30% 7 days before the pre-nup, and 40% plus the pre-nup fee (half of one day of the package) 7 days before the wedding; corporate events 50% and 50%; birthdays, christenings and dedications 30% and 70%. The final payment is due 7 days before the event unless the studio agrees another date. You may instead pay the whole amount at once within 48 hours.
• The wedding pre-nup is on a day before the wedding, not on the wedding day.
• The first payment is the reservation fee. It is non-refundable.
• Travel is ₱44 per km, there and back, from the studio (Block 48 Lot 7, Jade Residences, Imus, Cavite). It is charged per trip: a wedding with its pre-nup on another day is 2 trips; for events of more than 1 day the crew either goes home each day (one trip per day) or stays near the venue (one trip, and the client provides the crew's food and a place to stay). The studio emails the exact travel fee after checking the venue. Transportation and accommodation for places reached by plane or boat are paid by the client. The studio emails you every fee it adds.
• Not paying an installment on time can lead to non-confirmation or cancellation of the booking.

5. Cancelling and rescheduling

• Contact the studio at least one month before the event. Cancelling or rescheduling is not done online.
• A reschedule moves your payments to the new date with no fee, if the new date is open. The new due dates follow the new date.

6. GeekTalk and inspiration photos

• GeekTalk answers automatically from the studio's published information and can make mistakes. It cannot make or change a booking. The studio's confirmation always applies.
• Inspiration photos are creative guides only. We do not promise to copy a reference exactly.
• Only upload photos you are allowed to share. They are private to you and the studio.

7. Delivery

Photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) are delivered in about two months. Same-day edit is shown on the event day for packages that include it. The preview gallery link and QR code work for 3 days after they are posted.

8. Using the website responsibly

Do not upload unlawful or harmful content, misuse GeekTalk, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.

9. Intellectual property

The website's design, logo and content belong to Shootgeeks. If you allowed photo use on your booking, we may use photos and videos from your event in our portfolio and promotions.

10. Limits of liability

The website is provided as is. We are not liable for delays caused by internet problems, for mistakes in automated chatbot answers, or for interruptions during maintenance.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will show the new version here. Philippine law applies, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
